REED Education are working in partnership with a large Secondary School in North Oxfordshire in their quest to appoint a Media Teacher to start in April 2018. This is a long-term position which will become permanent for the right person. You will be teaching students in Key Stage 3 and 4, experience of teaching Key Stage 5 would be beneficial but is not essential.
This exciting position is at a large School of roughly 1800 pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds. Experience of teaching children in an EAL setting would be beneficial but is not essential, and the right teacher will be eager to join a School that caters to a diverse and wide-ranging community.

The successful candidate will: -

• Have the ability to teach Media to KS4 and KS5 students
• Be passionate about the subject areas and a good role model to students
• Be ambitious and want to further their career
• Be innovative and willing to lead departmental projects
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team of specialist teachers
The School will support the appointed teacher through an excellent Head Teacher and a strong leadership team, therefore the right candidate will be given all of the tools to succeed in an exciting teaching environment.
