An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the East Leake production team as Performance Manager within British Gypsums East Leake manufacturing plant.
As a Performance Manager you will lead and inspire your team and those around you to ensure all aspects of your line is performing to its maximum capacity and delivers key KPI’s.
What will you be doing in the role?
In the role as Performance Manager you will;
Champions health and safety standards, behaviours and improvements
Lead the team in using the WCM toolkit to analyse, identify, prioritise and resolve the biggest losses and drive a clear strategy to deliver and sustain improvement activity
Take responsibility for the effective manufacture of all products to the required specifications and quality standards
Implement and sustain robust process and procedural control
Lead effective implementation of new policies and procedures ensuring delivery of the plants 18001, 14001, 9001 and 5001 obligations
Foster a culture of collaboration across the operational teams using continuous improvement techniques to attack losses, improve capability and eliminate human error
Lead cross functional teams to identify technical or process improvement opportunities

At least 2 years’ experience leading a team within a manufacturing environment
Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels
Proven experience delivering improvement projects
Proven experience using continuous improvement tools in a manufacturing environment
The ability to effectively manage your workload focusing on both day to day, short and long term projects
