Product & Propositions Manager
The Product & Propositions Manager will play a key role in identifying and driving improvements across a key product portfolio within a high profile and data driven business unit. It’s a highly analytical role, the successful candidate will need to analyse and interpret commercial data to glean customer behaviour based insight that will support proposition planning and support financial performance initiatives. Whilst the business is looking to speak to experienced propositions or pricing managers from a range of industries any experience delivering and shaping financial services products would be highly advantageous (savings, mortgages etc.) Responsibilities Apply astute analytical skills to monitor and understand product performance in the existing portfolio, making meaningful recommendations to drive commercial performance improvement Define a strategy encompassing customer insight analysis to understand and improve customer journey milestones Build and develop a Price monitoring framework, monitoring competitor activity and the wider external market and deliver findings to business stakeholders Support new proposition proposals that help drive product and customer retention Own the development and evolution of the customer journey, identifying the impact of different product initiatives on the customer journey Build relationships with internal teams and specialist business partners to define customer proposition strategy, shape customer service to reinforce proposition enhancements Skills Highly analytical demonstrating the ability to analysis, interrogate and report on mass data sets Commercial experience working in a similar environment; Propositions Manager, Pricing Manager, Product Manager – ideally in the financial services or banking sector (advantageous) Strong MS Excel / Spreadsheet skills Excellent stakeholder management / communication skills Proficiency in presenting (mass data sets in simplistic format) Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines In return, you’ll receive an excellent starting salary and benefits package combined with a fantastic working environment.
