Sewell Wallis are looking for a Management Accountant for a retail business based in Bradford. The business who are part of a wider international group, are looking for an individual on a temporary to permanent basis and on a permanent basis.

As Management Accountant you key responsibilities will include:

Full month end close balance sheet reconciliations.
Supervision of the cashbook clerk.
Managing daily company cash flows and banking platforms.
Production of weekly turnover reports with variance analysis for all company distribution channels, entities and currencies, for use around the business, by Group reporting and for posting to GLs.
Completion of statutory VAT returns, monthly accruals/provisions and prepayment calculations.
Responsible for the completion and submission of the period business performance schedules for the group reporting pack including profit and loss, cash flow forecast and balance sheet) amongst others within required deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be:

A qualified by experience, part qualified or qualified Accountant.
Have excellent excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables).
Have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Have knowledge of preparing a full set of management accounts from start to finish.
