Randstad Education in Preston are currently looking to recruit secondary trained PE Teacher for a school in Blackpool.
We are the preffered supplier for a number of schools in the local area for many years now, helping them meet their teaching needs throughout the academic calendar. We are currently looking for a PE teacher to commence after Easter on an ongoing full time basis.
Within the PE faculty, there is often scope to develop learners in terms of fitness and technique, in both team sports such as football, hockey, rugby, netball etc, as well as individual sports such as athletics, tennis, and swimming. Often as a PE teacher there is the need to be able to teach not just the practical aspects of sport but also rules, strategy, anatomy and physiology. This is particularly evident with GCSE PE. PE teachers are regularly involved with pastoral management and are often role models for pupils within schools, and as such generally need to present themselves in this way.
We understand that every school is different, so we carefully match our teachers with the schools, and children, with which they will work best. Our core values are quality and suitability, so your preferences and career aspirations will be discussed at length in your interview, and we will endeavour to find you work that suits you.
To be successful in your application, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* UK teaching experience
* All offers are subject to Randstad Educations child safety standards and UK eligibility checks
