Supplier Quality Manager
Would you like to be able to shape the role, influence strategy and drive improvement? We currently have a vacancy for a Supplier Quality Manager at our site in Telford or Glascoed.
As a Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of an effective Supply Chain Quality Management System (QMS) and all of its related compliance.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to bring your own ideas and to develop the role. You will also have exposure to senior stakeholders across the Land UK business allowing you to build an influential stakeholder network.
Your main responsibilities as a Supplier Quality Manager will involve:
Leading the management of GCSM quality policies, procedures, processes, programmes, and practices, assuring the business and procurement function of continuous improvement, conformance and effectiveness
Responsibility as the functional leadership of the Supplier Quality Engineers deployed in the Category Teams
Responsibility for developing, revising, implementing and approving quality standards and procedures, within GCSM Procurement and the external supply chain
Achieving business objectives related to quality assurance by contributing information and analysis to support strategic plans and reviews
Maintaining, improving and enhancing supply chain product quality, through the development and implementation of a supply chain audit plan that prescribes supplier, product, system, compliance and surveillance audits and customer complaint investigations
Your skills and qualifications as a Supplier Quality Manager:
Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) knowledge/experience
Experience of building, developing a QMS
Coaching, development and mentoring experience
Knowledge/Experience of Lean/Six Sigma
Internal quality assurance background
