Project Manager - Leeds
Project Manager // Software // Super Cool // Agile // Consultancy // Amazing // Leeds // £40,000-65,000
Okay so super cool and amazing may not be what we usually see in a title, but we like to be honest here. On that note we're going to be straight about what we're looking for: an Agile PM for an Agile software consultancy looking for a good time. If you'd rather work with Gantt charts all day or be bored to death, this is not the role for you. For the rest of us, the search is over.
Sounds quirky, but what about the company?
A software solutions delivery consultancy looking for someone with transferable skills. In a flat, fluid and flexible environment, the team is really looking for someone to grow and develop.
Consultancy? Sounds like a lot of travel…
Yes you'll have to travel all around the city to client site. All around Leeds. Ridiculous I know.
Phew, so what will I be doing?
Quite simply, Project Manager stuff. Easy does it.
The role is software with involvement at varying parts of the Software Development Lifecycle, so an understanding of the SDLC is important (any former developers out there?) and some Agile experience too would help too, but this is first and foremost a Project Manager position.
The role is very software focused so technical skills and understanding are important so any mix of experience as a tester, automation engineer, database analyst, data warehouse engineer, Business Analyst, process analyst, systems analyst, technical analyst, business systems analyst, developer, programmer, software engineer or software consultant would be very useful. (Techy role for a techy PM!)
So a Project Manager role at a good company with a great package, what do I need to do?
Okay, you've got us here we need you to.. submit your CV! We're looking to interview straight away so don't hesitate
Ok now we have to SEO, apologies but it does indicate what skills are important.
Software, SDLC, Software Development Life Cycle, SDLC consultancy, Agile, Agile Consultancy, Project Manager, Agile PM… so the ideal candidate will be pretty a pretty technical Project Manager with Agile consultancy experience! (Agile, software, SDLC, Project Manager. I'm done now, promise! Software.)
