Prospero Teaching are working alongside Special Educational Needs schools in Hillingdon, West London, who are looking for Psychology Graduates to work in various support roles!

No other experience is necessary, the schools we work with value highly the theoretical knowledge gained from a Psychology degree.

If you are a recent graduate and are considering a move into Special Educational Needs education, Clinical or Educational Psychology or Teaching, some good first hand experience in a Special Educational Needs school will be invaluable.

So long as you can show that you are motivated, lots of schools are able to offer training and developement.

About the schools...

* Cater for primary, secondary and post-16 age students
* Students have statements for a variety of needs, including Learning Difficulties (Moderate - Profound and Multiple), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and others
* Some schools also provide for students with Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and some are Pupil Referral Units with very challenging behaviour
* All schools have highly specialist equipment to aid students' learning

About the roles...

* Teaching Assistant roles, all based in Special Educational Needs schools
* Responsibilities include assisting the learning of students with a variety of disabilities in lesson, assisting the class teacher in preparation of resources and ensuring health and safety of students
* Highly challenging but highly rewarding roles!
