Are you familiar with the terms Carriage Roller, Transmission Friction Plates, King Pin, Master Cylinder, and Traction Battery? We have an exciting opportunity for a Quotation and Parts Coordinator to join this plant hire company based in Avonmouth. Salary £16-17k plus excellent benefits working Mon-Fri 8.30-5.

As Quotation and Parts Coordinator you will be responsible for compiling quotes, sourcing and pricing of parts and stock review working with a busy team of engineers with parts queries.

Reporting to the Service Manager you will generate quotes from engineers job reports, identify parts and source pricing of parts for fleet and COP trucks, take telephone enquiries relating to parts, quotes etc, and check equipment details against the system and supplier prices carrying out regular price comparison between suppliers. In addition you will identify and list parts not in stock, ensuring what is in stock prior to requesting parts orders.

It is essential you have good working knowledge of automotive/ Fork lifts/ MHE engineering & parts departments with a good understanding of the quotation process. Good IT skills are required in particular Word, Excel and Outlook with excellent communication skills.

This role may suit a Parts Advisor, Parts Coordinator, Quotations Coordinator, Parts Administrator, Quotations Administrator or similar within the automotive or MHE industry.
