Who are we? We are a rapidly growing charity seeking to accelerate change for those affected by brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. Our five-year strategy is ambitious and sets out plans to double survival from brain tumours and halve the harm they cause to quality of life. Our exciting job role! The Policy & Public Affairs team is responsible for The Charity’s policy engagement and campaigns programme helping to improve life today and ensure equal access to treatment and care throughout the UK. The Charity’s Policy & Public Affairs activities are driving forwards at an ever expanding pace and our Policy Involvement Officer will play a key role in this. This role is full time - 37.5 hours and will be based in our Farnborough office, with some out‑of‑hours working. What we'd like from you: It's simple - all you need to succeed in this role is talent, ambition and energy. According to the job description you should also have a Degree (or equivalent) in a political/policy studies discipline and have an understanding of the political and health environment in the UK, and a strong interest in the cancer and neurology structures within the sector along with the ability to analyse complex information.
