A Leading Children's charity based in London is looking for BI Developer X2. The BI & Data Team has responsibility for the report development & maintenance, data integration, data modelling, data governance and data reporting of the charities business systems. Key responsibilities Responsible for data definitions, source system identification and connectivity, performing data validation while working with end users to define business requirements and needs. Read and interpret what the business is saying to proactively identify potential issues and problems Create Dimensional Data model from the new requirement and develop multidimensional cube using SSAS. Develop, build and maintain all aspects of the BI and Data platform, which include Cisco CIS system and MSBI stack including Power BI Report Ensure a globally robust and highly scalable approach to development to support our growing number of global users and services Clearly convey the key insights or "story" the data reveals in a visual format that is grouped, summarized, or formatted to be easily understood and actionable Not afraid to Suggest and deliver new systems and system improvements Essential Technical Skills Significant MS SQL experience (MS SQL 2012 essential) Development on one of the Data Virtualisation System or at least knowledge of one e.g. Cisco CIS, Denodo, Red hat JBoss or worked on greenfield Data warehouse Project Experience in database management/marketing with a strong understanding of the use of data and systems in online marketing campaigns (preferably Adobe Campaign Manager) Significant MS SSAS experience to create cubes from scratch Significant MS SSIS experience Data Modelling Kimball/Star Schema OLTP database development Ability to understand, interpret (and challenge) business requirements and translate these into a developed solution. Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in. Experience of at least one BI reporting and Visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, Tableau or any other similar tools) Experience creating Logical and Conceptual Data Model Others - TFS, Jira, ServiceNow If you have the stated requirements then please apply to Harris Hill with your up to date CV.
