Education Service Manager
About the role
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Education Service Manager to join our professional team at our Centre in Dereham. This is a permanent, full time position, working 37.5 hours per week in an education setting.
As a Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will effectively manage a team to deliver person centred, specialist services that meet organisational standards and expectations. You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning, staff management/development and budget management.
We're looking for a dynamic and forward thinking individual, with a passion for mentoring staff in their development. You will place a strong emphasis on devising and implementing varied programs for people who attend the service. You will share the values and focus of the organisation, and support the management team to implement strategies and programs which meet these values.
The successful candidate will have relevant teaching experience in the special educational needs sector. You will need to have had proven experience of supervising and line managing staff in accordance with policy and legislation, as well as experience of managing misconduct, grievance and performance issues. It would be fantastic if you have experience of supporting people with sensory impairments, learning disabilities and complex needs. We will provide you extensive training in sensory support.
