We are looking for a dynamic Solutions Architect (Enterprise,Developer) to join our Solutions Delivery team in Exeter IT. Workingwith key partners, you will establish the vision by aligning capabilityuplift with strategy. Building upon the vision you will be responsiblefor defining the baseline (as-is) and target (to-be) business,information and technology architectures. The Solutions Architect (Enterprise, Developer) role: - Lead on the delivery of high-level designs that define business,information and technology architectures to support the business requirements, EnterpriseArchitecture governance framework and technology roadmaps. - Work with the architecture team to develop architectural blueprints,roadmaps, policies, principles, standards, patterns and other artefacts to support anddevelop the Enterprise Architecture capability. - Lead on the identification of the gaps between baseline and targetarchitectures and exploit opportunities by establishing a solution in line with EnterpriseArchitecture governance. - Hold accountability for the solution, leading low-level design andimplementation to ensure continued compliance with architecture governance and the high-level design. - Provide professional expertise and leadership in relation tosolutions architecture and the opportunities for new capabilities generated by the practice ofEnterprise Architecture. You: - You will have a deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture. - You can demonstrate a broad knowledge of IT and digital technologies. - You can evidence your experience of developing solution architectureartefacts including Architecture Visions and High Level Designs. - You have demonstrable experience of defining Solution architecturesand roadmaps in a commercial environment, demonstrating business insight, balancingfinancial, quality, people and customer expectations. - You have experience of working in a Design, Develop, Operate environment. If you have any experience of the following, then it would be helpfulbut not essential; - Capability Planning and Modelling. - Service Orientated Architectures. - Microsoft Visio. - Orbus iServer.
