Packaging is key selling aspect to beauty and home fragrance ranges which are worth around £80 million a year. Home packaging is extremely important from a brand and product perspective.

The ideal candidate must have:

The ability to identify key packaging trends for homewares in the market place and illustrate those trend in the form of inspirational mood boards.

Must be aware of current fashion & lifestyle trends and able to apply to homewares, fragrance/beauty and gifting product in an exciting and appropriate way.

Must be able to produce packaging style guidelines with detailed information re pattern, colour, fonts and packaging formats to inform suppliers to design into our trends.
Previousexperience within a similar role is essential

Must have excellent presentation skills and ability to inspire through verbal and visual means.

Experience briefing manufacturers

Must have excellent CAD skills, Photoshop and Illustrator. Microsoft Office.

SImilar retailer or supplier background

Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent

Must be able to show examples of producing style guides/briefing documents

The ideal candidate must be creative, positive, driven, flexible and resilient with excellent communication skills.
