This Managed IT Services Provider and Microsoft Gold Partner providingIT support as either an outsourced IT department or in partnership withclient' in-house IT teams, is now seeking a Technical Support Analyst tojoin their team. As a Technical Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing2nd and 3rd line technical support to their client's customers. You maybe required to travel to client sites to provide first-hand support. They offer you the opportunity to join a dynamic team of ITprofessionals, working from modern air conditioned offices with freeonsite parking, they are committed to excellence and will support thesuccessful applicant financially in the continued attainment ofprofessional IT accreditations. You will log call request information into their client's CMS systemand provide round-the-clock support to customers. This will require you to take a flexible approach towards working hoursfor which overtime will be paid. Taking a customer focused approach, youwill develop a high level of awareness for the support services whichsupport key business processes and activities. Your duties will include: - Troubleshooting problems, identifying the problem and providingprompt resolution - Monitoring, managing and controlling activities that providepro-active support for customers - Developing an understanding of IT strategy and architecture and howit supports business requirements - Reducing costs and improving efficiency - Enhancing the skills and capabilities of both customers and staff andenabling a culture of continuous improvement Professional Attributes: - Windows Server experience (including terminal services/remote desktop services) - Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online Administration Experience - Extensive Windows Desktop experience - Knowledge of internet firewall and Ethernet switching in a business environment. - Virtual Server Experience - Good hardware experience and ability to build/modify Intel-basedservers - Solid troubleshooting ability and able to prove/document your work. - Proficiency in: TCP/IP, switching, routing and firewall knowledge, Personal attributes: - Flexible Schedule and willingness to travel - Should own reliable vehicle - A full driving licence. - Personable and can work well with end users and team - Good communication and documentation skills, keeps smiling and coolunder pressure. Advantageous: - Certifications: MCSE, MCSA and related vendor certs Working hours: 37.5 hours between 8 - 5:30 Monday - Friday Noticeperiod: 1 month - provided by Dice CMS, ETHERNET, FIREWALL, INTERNET, MCSA, MCSE, MICROSOFT, TERMINAL SERVICES, WINDOWS, WINDOWS SERVER
