The Job Role

Gi Professional Specialist Staffing Services is a division of Gi Group UK and dedicated to working with clients and candidates within specialised areas.
Due to the continued growth of the Engineering market, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our Engineering Recruitment team in Hatfield, resourcing candidates for permanent and contract positions throughout the United Kingdom.


Working within the Engineering recruitment team to proactively identify, source and qualify suitable professional candidates
This will be achieved through the following core activity:
* Using innovative and creative approaches to attract candidates
* Utilising job boards and professional networking sites for targeted job advertisements and proactive CV sourcing
* Using online social networking resources to build talent pipelines
* Utilising the in-house database for candidate searching and mailshots
* Networking and occasionally headhunting where appropriate
* Successfully manage client and candidates expectations and feedback
* Briefing /screening candidates by telephone and skype in line with clients requirements
* Shortlisting and presenting candidates to clients in a well written and relevant manner
* Organise interviews
* Manage candidates through the recruitment process in a timely and professional manner
* Provide relevant and well written information to candidates and clients
* Manage offer and placement activities
Person specification

With a proven track record of success in a fast moving Engineering / Recruitment role, the ideal candidate will be able to display the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Experience of talent acquisition and recruitment
* Resourcing / Recruiting experience in professional staffing functions. Experience of Engineering recruitment would be advantageous
* Demonstrated success in sourcing and attracting active and passive candidates
