We are looking for an experienced, motivated and target driven Apprenticeship Business Development Advisor to provide maternity cover for our team who will focus on recruiting apprentices and engaging new employers within the Rugby, Coventry and Warwickshire area for business based apprenticeships.

The main priority for this role is to grow our business as a leading apprenticeship training organisation with both B2B and B2C apprenticeship agreements, contributing to the Government’s ambition for 3 million apprentices by 2020.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational and communication skills and will be responsible for managing their own caseload.

You will be joining an enthusiastic and friendly team who each manage their own geographic areas and industry sectors.

Own transport is essential as this role entails significant travel with various responsibilities meaning that no two days are the same.

Duties include identifying both new and progression opportunities for apprentices as well as potential new business opportunities and following up leads either through telephone conversations or face to face meetings and attending various outreach events to attract new business.

You will be responsible for account managing employers and acting as a first point of contact for learners starting their apprenticeship journey with us.

We offer a competitive salary with OTE plus travel expenses. 33 days holiday allowance, rising to 38 after time served period. Company pension and healthcare scheme and a recruitment referral incentive. Our working hours are 09:00-16:30 Monday-Friday with occasional overtime required. Full training, support and opportunities for continuing professional development are also delivered as standard.

Main Purpose of Job:

To enrol the correct amount and type of learners on each programme according to targets.
To ensure that learners are enrolled on the correct programme for their ability and aspirations.
To ensure that strong schools and salons outreach relationships are built and maintained.
To give all learners the standard of recruitment and induction in line with QS and expected by OFSTED and to meet contractual requirements.
To advise and provide a high standard of IAG to motivate learners during the course of their programme.
To achieve all personal targets set on time.
To champion equality, diversity and inclusion and safeguarding.
To promote our training programme to schools and salons by direct marketing.
To ensure all potential employers have completed the organisational training needs analysis.
To identify opportunities for and organise work experience and voluntary work for learners.
To ensure that all potential salons are assessed according to Health and Safety/safeguarding/equality, diversity and inclusion requirements prior to work experience/voluntary work taking place or full time apprenticeship enrolment commences.
To liaise with learners and assessors regularly to ensure the learner progresses on target through their programme and to address any issues/barriers to learning.
To ensure that all company policy and procedures are adhered to throughout the sector.
To take ownership of learner and school records to meet quality/audit requirements.
To work closely with the internal business development advisor to meet joint objectives.
To meet deadlines for responding to NAS and partner referrals and learner applications in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

To present a good image to all contacts, and to maintain constructive relationships
