As the Maintenance Manager you are responsible to manage and carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities as required whilst managing a team of skilled technicians.

Main Duties:
• Manage a team of people in respect to performance, attendance behaviour, capability, welfare health and safety and record keeping
• Manage and carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks as required
• Ensure all remedial and reactive maintenance tasks are delivered
• Ensure all works are compliant with statutory obligations such as CDM, building regs/standards, fire safety, equality act, planning and environmental guidance
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective maintenance delivery
• Complete documentation using IT equipment
• Write contract specifications

The Ideal person:
• You will be qualified in Mechanical and Electrical or will have gained appropriate experience
• Knowledge of matrix management
• H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH Managing Safely level
• Knowledge of workload scheduling
• Knowledge of matrix management
• Knowledge auditing systems
• Planning and analysis skills
• IT skills
