We see the Head of Internal Communications as a pivotal and vitally important role within the business. Its key we ensure that all our internal communications make a real and positive difference to our colleagues and people we support.

Joining us on a twelve month fixed term contract we want to give you the opportunity to lead, develop and continue to implement the internal communications, engagement and corporate social responsibility strategies for the Loan Services arm of Computershare in the UK.

Accountable for a fantastic team we would expect you to be able to maintain the high standard of service provided to the business whilst having the opportunity to identify and develop new opportunities by engaging with senior stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

•Continue to develop the Internal Communications and CSR strategies and objectives, identifying and evaluating the ongoing requirements of the business
•Be responsible for the Internal Communication and CSR budgets
•Provide specialist advice to all colleagues, including the Executive Team, challenging where appropriate
•Develop and manage all Internal Communications channels including operational briefings, company-wide Town Halls and the development of the Loan Services Intranet site, continually improving their effectiveness through evaluation
•Develop and deliver high impact Internal Communications projects and campaigns for major change programmes, with a key focus on supporting contact centre colleagues
•Develop initiatives to maintain, improve and measure colleague engagement, plus providing key support on the global annual opinion survey
•Oversee the development and delivery of charitable giving, health & wellbeing, community investment and sustainability programmes in line with the CSR strategy
•Ensure the direction of the Loan Services team compliments the wider global programmes of work.

What kind of skills do we want to see?

•Substantial experience leading an Internal Communications or Engagement function in a diverse organisation
•Substantial experience of developing and implementing communications, engagement and CSR strategies
•Ability to construct and present strategic level plans, budgets and forecast
•Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers
•Ability to communicate at all levels and experience of working with Senior Leaders
•Proven ability to manage successfully through change and lead communications for complex change programmes
•Strong written skills that include the ability to translate complex, technical concepts into meaningful language for our colleagues.
