Platinum Recruitment Agency are looking for Multi Skilled Security Engineers
(In various fields including: CCTV, Access, Fire Alarms, Installations, Service, Fire Alarms, Trigger Alarms)

Main purpose of the role To carry out installation / remedial/ service/ fault finding of fire and security systems for homes and commercial premises identifying customer needs, services requirements to develop business opportunities for the company.

Location and pay scale
Essex/Suffolk, salary depending on experience with additional bonuses available depending on targets being met.
Company vehicle, use of laptop and phone, company clothing,

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
• Use fault finding and diagnostic tools/knowledge to identify faults and repair.
• Completing minor works, installation & quotations and presenting them to the customer
• Work to meet company install/repair targets
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with new and existing customers and keep them up to date
• Identify opportunities for sales lead generation
• Achieve fix first time wherever possible and seek guidance or advise from the Head of Engineering prior to leaving site and ensure any outstanding issues are highlighted on the day.
• Ensure full compliance to security and electrical standards currently NSI Gold, BAFE, NSI Gold fire and CHAS. (and to the standards of our other accreditations) and implementation of all health and safety requirements in works completed
• To follow the Health and Safety policy and to take responsibility for your safety and the safety of colleagues, customers and the public at all times.
• Report hazards to management
• Every day ensuring you have your job sheets and relevant equipment / parts to complete the job
• To arrive at the office or location of work to be ready to start work by 8.30am
• To return faulty equipment on the same day and fully complete the returns form
• Ensure you log on & off site using PDA or paper job sheet (where applies) recording correctly times and returning information prior to leaving site.
• To respect your colleagues, clients and their belongings
• Follow “the Rules of the Game” at all times
• General administration tasks as required and to follow any reasonable instruction asked of you. E.g. emptying rubbish from the workshop
• To only wear the full company uniform and PPE (as appropriate ) you have been provided
• To ensure that your vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy state and that it is washed at least once a week with any fault reported immediately.

Other Responsibilities

Updating customer records.
Liaise with office based staff to identify/escalate issues and advise of delay.
Positively promote and portray the business and its work at all times
Embrace new opportunities, training and development of self and others

Working in a fast moving, ever changing environment whilst adhering to professional standards and complying with all health and safety requirements
