Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is now required for a market leading manufacturer within the building products and services industry to be based on their busy site in the East Midlands.

The ideal Maintenance Engineer for this exciting opportunity will have a strong background within a mechanical maintenance role where they have been involved in installing, maintaining and servicing large, heavy industrial equipment.

Joining this experienced team, you will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance of equipment including Conveyers, Presses, Moulding Machines, Robots, Drying, Mixing and packaging. To be successful in this position you will be expected to have a mechanical bias with experience of the following:

? Installing and maintaining large equipment

? Mechanical experince of fixing and maintaining, Motors, Gearboxes, Pumps and Presses

? Solid understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics

? Good understanding of Health & Safety

? Previous experience within a similar heavy industry is highly advantageous though not essential

Operating 24/7, Maintenance Engineers will respond to machinery breakdowns as well as involvment in planned maintenance and project work to develop and upgrade the site. The successful candidate will be working within a large team of Engineers covering a double days rotating shift pattern.

In return the client is offering a salary package up to £38k which includes shift allowance and bonus as well as 20 days holiday (+ 8 stats), paid overtime and pension scheme.

This role is based within Derbyshire and is commutable from within and around the following areas: Burton on Trent, Derby, Alfreton, Ashbourne and surrounding locations.
