The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is within a fantastic Special Needs School that I have the pleasure of working closely with. They are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience within the SEN sector, who can work to inspire and achieve! The ideal candidate will have worked in a school with Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties that has a desire to work with students with ASD and other difficulties. The role would require someone to be comfortable dealing with personal care, including toileting and feeding and also with restraining students. As an SEN Teaching Assistant/Support Worker you would be supporting the emotional, social and academic development of the students you work with to ensure they reach their full potential!

The School - SEN Teaching Assistant
The school is based between Hillingdon and Uxbridge. Drivers are preferred as there are not many transport links to the school. They have around 190 students, aged 3 ½ - 19, within the school meaning there is lots of opportunity to help them reach their full potential. This school has consistently high standards which is reflected in their Ofsted report. They have a brilliant team who can provide excellent training and support, regardless of whether you are employed on a temporary or permanent basis. As well as specially trained teachers, the school benefits from full-time on-site speech and language therapists and occupational therapists, with access to a range of interventions such as drama and music therapy and clinical psychology.
