Winner Recruitment are delighted to be looking for a strong 1st or 2nd Tier IT Support candidate to join a busy office environment.

This role is taking incoming calls from customers offering the best IT Technical support over the phone. It is fast paced and challenging and you will need to provide a mixture of direct support and a consultancy service to all customers.

We are looking for someone with a passion for providing great customer service. The person will need to be experienced in providing support of complex software systems and will need to have the ability to analyse, diagnose and resolve difficult issues.

Job Role

Respond to inbound queries and log tickets.
We require you must have 1st or 2nd tier experience
Diagnose and resolve software issues (technical and functional)
Install software on customer infrastructure
Upgrade software on customer infrastructure
Commission hardware devices used by our software
Supporting customer hosted software
QA software fixes/changes

Required Skills

Analytical problem solver
Able to learn quickly and learn well
Strong working knowledge in a Microsoft technical environment
Working with MS Servers
Experienced in supporting MS SQL server (desirable)
Able to write SQL scripts
Use of profiler
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Full driving licence
Prepared and able to travel and work on customer sites, this will involve overnight stays.
