Our customer is a privately-owned company with offices globally, with a large expansion in the past 12 months a requirement has been prioritised for a Lead Application Support Manager to join the leading Advertising technology firm.

Performing the role of Lead Application Support Manager you will be responsible for focusing on the operational support of specific business applications ensuring maintenance tasks are completed and high availability of applications is maintained. The Lead Application Support Manager will be taking full control of the application support function while having a hands on approach working on web-based, SQL applications. You will have responsibility for owning and building upon the current application support team.

Essential skills:
Very strong management experience
Strong analytical reasoning skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
Passion for customer service and understanding of the value of delivering quality software support
Self-motivated, action-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expert in SQL
Expert knowledge in multi-tiered web applications
Strong understanding of software development principles

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Application Support Manager with specific experience of supporting web-based, SQL applications. Technical communication skills are vital to this role, you will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and customers, and your ability to explain issues and solutions clearly and efficiently is key. This technical communication also extends to the creation of documentation.
