Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Installation Manager to work for a leading Fire Protection company based in Basingstoke. You will act as the key function of the fire safety and electrical systems installation projects.

As a dedicated and ambitious Manager with high standards, you take pride in delivering a great service to your customers within this leading Fire Protection Company.

You will be an experienced electrician who is able to lead, motivate, monitor and oversee a team of installation engineers which includes apprentices to ensure they produce quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day running of jobs and show good initiative, you will be required to project manage the complete project Lifecyle.
• Ensure the regulatory and statutory compliance of each installation.
• Schedule and assign work along side the operations co-ordinator.
• Motivate engineers to increase their productivity and meet deadlines.
• Ensure correct maintenance of equipment, compliance with electrical codes and adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist with electrical system installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Design electrical systems and circuits including contributing to improved designs.
• Ensure adequate inventory, plan budgets, prioritise purchases, prepare cost estimates and document their purchases.
• Keep records of electrical operations and timesheets.
• Evaluate engineers work.
• Ensure quality of service falls within budget and contractual standards.
• Prepare and deliver tool box talks to engineering staff.
• You will undertake significant travel in this role and will need the flexibility to spend time away from home as work takes place right across the UK.

Experience Required

• Experience of running multiple projects of various sizes across electrical systems and addressable fire systems.
• Sound knowledge of electrical installations.
• You will demonstrate that you have 8 years plus suitable experience.
• Must be able to promote a high level of knowledge on Electrical and Fire Systems.
• BAFE SP2031.
• FIA Units 1 – 6.
• CITB Supervisor SSTS.
• Full driving licence
