The School is a leading specialist provision for children and young people with social, emotional, behavioural, mental health and learning needs. As a specialist provider of education for pupils with social, emotional & mental health difficulties (SEMH), there is a focus on social skills, PSHE (Personal, Social, Health & Economic Education) and circle time. Therapy, including through the use of music, drama and dance, as well as more traditional approaches such as counselling, play, art, speech & language and occupational therapy, is central to pupils' learning programmes

The interview process would include a full days trial to give you a full insight to the day to day operations of how the school is run. It is important to note that no two days are the same, so if it is a new and exciting challenge that you are looking for then this is the post for you.

Each day is full on and you will be expected to start just before 8:00am - 4.30pm
Duties will include small group, 1:1 and general class support alongside the Teacher.
Due to the nature of the children, you will also from time to time be required to intervene if the situation does arise. Full Physical Intervention Training will be provided.
