Our client is a SME company based in North Nottinghamshire who are looking to substantially grow their business. They are a global business exporting over 30% of all equipment, and a world leader in their field of high-performance Direct To Garment digital textile printers. As an international business they have already achieved strong and successful expansion, growth has been achieved year on year for the past years. Via the expansion of their product portfolio and exports markets they continue to widen their market footprint globally.

Based at their headquarters in Mansfield the ‘international sales account manager’ will develop new business opportunities and manage existing key accounts. You will be responsible for maximising their sales revenue with the existing key client base as well as developing new customers in new market segments. This is a key role and the successful candidate will be responsible for business development through a network of international distributers, and will include delivery, on-going development and after sales customer support and services. The company is looking for a strong and dynamic Sales individual who can drive the business forward with a “hands on” business attitude.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
 To manage current international accounts and win new business in new sectors/geographic regions globally.
 The responsibilities of this role include;
 Maintaining and supporting key customer relationships with existing Distributors in accordance with current licence agreements.
 Supporting business group directors in developing and formalising relationships with potential distributors.
 Supporting new and existing distributors in their understanding of the Company’s Products, process and Technical Standards.
 Identifying opportunities for further collaboration with existing Distributors.
 Assisting with marketing and sales initiatives by representing the company in relevant UK and International forums/seminars/trade shows,
 Actively promoting the company products and services through effective information exchange,
 Monitoring performance of distributors through effective account management and audits,
 Preparing contractual documentation,
 Co-ordinate distributor meetings and workshops,
 Responding to direct distributors and other client enquiries,
 Preparing regular reports and analysis on financial and other performance indicators for the Board of Directors.
 There are no direct staff management responsibilities for this role at present.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING KEY SKILLS AND KEY COMPETENCES:

 At least 5 years post-graduate technical sales experience and 2-3 years’ experience in a client/distributor management delivery orientated role.
 Knowledge, understanding and experience of digital textile printing either large or small format, international business via the distributor sales routes to market.
 Educated to a degree level, ideally in textile design and printing applications or international business
 Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills,
 Experience of preparing and interpreting contractual documentation,
 Be fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,
 Be organised, flexible and be able to prioritise a busy workload.
 Be able to travel overseas on a regular basis.
 The following skills and experience would be beneficial:
 Understanding of the principles and application of developing and updating operational and technical documents and on-going monitoring of business activities to ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
 Foreign language skills.

PROFILE:
A team player, but able to work autonomously, you will lead the International sales efforts throughout much of the developed and emerging international market. You will be involved in the assessment of machines for upgrade, recommending new machines to enable customers to satisfy their testing regime requirements, solving problems, and helping co-ordinate installation, commissioning, and training of distributors in the use of products. You will be personable, but firm in ensuring distributor needs are exceeded. In general you will have good international communication skills, enabling a coherent approach to international sales.

Working Hours: 40 nominal, flexible as role dictates
Salary: Dependent on experience and suitability – attractive package
