We are recruiting for an Environmental Engineer to join our client in Gloucestershire who are specialists in their field. You will be joining a highly successful business with a strong client base, exceptional reputation for delivering challenging projects and a business who continue to grow and expand across the UK.

As an Environmental Engineer you will be involved in a multi-disciplined role which encompasses a broad range of responsibilities associated with both technical and operational delivery on site and within the office.
You will ideally have 2 years of experience within a consultancy environment and will be familiar with site investigations, client contact and working on contract projects.

This role requires first class communication skills along with solid analytical ability and competence to compile and write technical documents and reports.
You will need to be flexible and have a collaborative attitude to problem solving within a team environment along with a high standard of health and safety knowledge when working on site. You will be required to travel and stay away from home occasionally so flexibility will also be required in this respect.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Site based delivery of remediation and investigation projects
* Production of technical reports and documents
* Subcontractor selection and management
* Liaison with statutory authorities and other stakeholders
* Assisting in the design and planning of remediation schemes
