Jobsworth Recruitment Solutions are looking to recruit a Trainee Engineer to work in Colnbrook, working for a leading company in formwork, falsework and groundwork systems for hire to the construction industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a school or college leaver looking to take that first step in to engineering construction, with the company willing to invest in your further education, leading to potential funding for college and university training in order for you to gain more qualifications for the role. The company also offer excellent companies for progression, both career path and salary!

Ideally you will already have the following skills;

* Computer literate (ideally with experience of using CAD software).
* Desire to work in a construction environment.
* Ability to realise what a two-dimensional drawing will look like when constructed on site in three dimensions.
* Ability to learn to use CAD software in falsework/formwork environment.
* Ability to learn new skills quickly and effectively.
* Co-operative, flexible and reliable.
* Ability to work accurately and methodically.

Key aspects of the role will include;

* Contribute towards the smooth operation of the Drawing Office by operating all applicable office equipment correctly.
* Promote brand image by maintaining high personal standards of dress and appearance.
* Contribute towards an effective workforce by complying with all company policies and procedures.
* Contribute towards delivering a safe and healthy working environment by not doing anything that could put anyone at risk and by reporting any safety issues or concerns to your line manager.
* Make full use of the appropriate PPE, especially when visiting customer’s sites or when visiting the other company locations.
* Ensure that you stay safe by only operating equipment when you have been correctly trained and authorised to do so.
* Ability to learn how to communicate at all levels internally and externally.
* Undertake any other duties, as appropriate to your competence, as required by your line manager from time to time.
