The Just Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a prestigious Witham based Independent family company, who are recruiting for a Skilled Operator to support their busy production operation within their 'Logistics' function. The company continues to experience rapid growth and there are great opportunities for a Skilled Production Operator to join a highly successful business in the FMCG industry.

For this position, having the following is ESSENTIAL:
Stock control experience
Trained and competent in 5S improvement techniques
A minimum of 3 GCSE passes at a grade A-C including maths or equivalent
Risk Assessment experience
Good level of computer skills including and internal departments in a professional manner
Overseeing a team (either temporary or permanent staff)
Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numerical skills
Flexibility and a team work ethic
Commitment to company values
Previous WMS experience is desirable

Within this role you will be accountable for the control of stock; picking, storing, checking levels of stock, raising issues and completing paperwork and computer based records of movement, receipts and dispatches.
Working as part of a team is a key, also having the experience of working in a safety culture and to keep high standards always. Within this role you may have staff who will be working under your direction, so you must have the ability to lead a team. This role will involve the accurate distribution and storage of raw materials and finished goods in a busy bonded warehouse and production environment. It will involve liaison with production, customer services, sales, planners and customers as well as suppliers and hauliers so a professional outlook is essential.
