Chase and Holland are excited to be working closely with a SME based on the outskirts of Alfreton. Working as part of a friendly, welcoming team, you’ll be responsible for both the sales and purchase ledgers for this growing business.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Raising sales orders and invoices, and raising monthly statements
* Raising credit notes within company processes
* Investigating any customer disputes
* Posting supplier invoices
* Matching purchase orders and delivery notes to invoices
* Managing supplier statement reconciliations
* Ensuring the client and supplier databases are accurate and up to date at all times

Required Skills and Experience:

* Strong experience in an accounts position
* An excellent understanding of sales and purchase ledgers
* Good communication skills and confidence speaking over the phone
* A customer focused approach
* Excellent attention to detail

This is a permanent, full time position. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch.

My client is looking to pay up to £20,000 basic salary. Benefits include 31 days annual leave, free parking, a profit related bonus scheme and a pension
