A very good opportunity has arisen for a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to sit the directors and help them build and develop the team in this well-established Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental consultancy.

You will have direct line management of junior engineers whilst helping deliver complex Geo-Environmental projects from phase 1 through to remediation and validation stages. You will also have the chance to learn or ideally be responsible for the delivery of geotechnical interpretive reports (inc the foundation recommendations and foundation design / slope stability analysis for residential and commercial developments).

Essential Requirements

* Environmental BSc and ideally MSc qualified in the relevant field.
* Chartered or approaching with a relevant engineering body.
* You have extensive experience in a broad range of Geo-environmental engineering works including Phase I and Phase II assessments, remediation method statements/strategies, remediation supervision and remediation verification.
* Basic knowledge of Geotechnical is preferred but not essential. i.e. Assessment of appropriate bearing capacity, settlement analysis, slope stability and working knowledge of earthworks etc

This role can offer progression up to Associate / Director position for the right candidate.
