£45K to £55K - entirely dependent of your levels of skills and experience as matched to their requirements.

The role of Head of Maintenance and Site Services is integral to their business as you are the lynch pin that ensures productivity is consistent, not affected by down time, all maintenance is planned and all aspects meet their health and safety regulations.

Impact of the Role

To oversee the installation of the new production facility and thereafter the ongoing maintenance, repair and upkeep of operations of all the Company's production facilities. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.

You must have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and Siemens control systems. You will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.

The goal is to ensure the Company production and site facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the Company's business operations.

The Role

* Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
* Create Maintenance Schedules.
* Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
* Carry out PLC checks and perform or suggest program changes
* Check electrical and mechanical systems of buildings to ensure functionality
* Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
* Allocate workload and manage team
* Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
* Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
* Manage relationships with contractors and service providers negotiating and agreeing preventative maintenance contracts
* Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
* Ensure health and safety policies and regulations are complied with
* Propose and oversee the implementation of the Company's capital proposal projects

Your Knowledge

* Proven experience as a maintenance manager
* Experience in planning maintenance operations
* Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical and Siemens PLC control systems
* Working knowledge of machines and equipment

* Ability to keep track of and report on activity
* Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
* Certified qualifications- 17th Edition electrical essential
