This is a fantastic opportunity to join a corporate and a very well respected regional professional service supplier. They have been established for over fifty years and have a number of offices throughout the region. As they continue to grow they have brought in a number of employees to help this continued expansion and also establish an even stronger brand throughout the region. Part of this growth means they have now got a role for a Head of Business Development and Marketing to really help continue their relationships and strengthen their employer brand.

As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for:

• Production of and regular updating of a Marketing and Business Development Strategy which raises the companies profile, develops its reputation and supports the achievement of its strategic plan
• Responsible for the overall management of operational Marketing and Business Development activities
• Ensure the Marketing and Business Development department has the appropriate structures, systems, competencies in place in order to meet and exceed its goals
• Manage the Marketing and Business Development team including its performance and development. Work closely with other departments to maximise the Business Development, PR and Marketing opportunities for the company
• Develop and expand links with the local business community through more structured and targeted business development. This includes coordinating attendees and speakers at events, liaising with networking forums
• Develop KPIs which show clear monitoring and tracking of activities and success rates
• Develop PR strategy including regular, positive coverage of the company in a variety of media ensuring all messages and communications are consistent and clear and promote them
• Ensure strategic activity for the company’s web and social media channels is developed and executed, developing new campaigns, driving engagement and linking to the PR and marketing strategy
• Develop internal and external communications, including the intranet, newsletters and digital platforms, including contributing content and managing other providers
• Generate creative marketing ideas that promote the group’s key USPs and make it stand above the competition, highlighting the quality and professionalism we offer clients
• Seek out opportunities and generate Invitation to Tenders as appropriate through portals, networks and fee earner referrals and critically evaluating those that are worth pursuing, this includes acting quickly to create team, arrange kick off meeting and allocate tasks when a suitable bid arises

To be the successful Head of Business Development and Marketing you should have experience of leading and managing a team, a strong relationship builder, be pro-active and a proven commercial track record.
