My client is a Technical and Service Solutions business that specialises in industrial air systems. The core business is as a total solutions provider to the Compressed Air Industry as a provider of maintenance, service and Turnkey projects.

Our client has identified a need to strengthen the commercial team with the aim of supporting the next stage of their development.
Working both independently and with National Account Managers, you will maintain and develop existing customer relationships whilst expanding the range and number of customers.

This is a key role in our growth plans and for the right candidate could be a step into a successful and highly ambitious company that is expanding in a £100m plus market.

Main Purpose of the Job
Manage the relationship with assigned regional accounts at site level.
Expand the number of active customers within defined customers sectors.
Increase both sales and profits from the agreed customer base
To work collaboratively, proactively with other commercial and operational departments.
Lead the sourcing, identification and validation of opportunities to be fed into the organisation.
Deliver tender and bid submissions that are technically compliant and commercially viable
Provide guidance regarding the impact of project cash flows, pipeline and general reporting
Ensure that all quotes and sales are managed within the company policies and processes

Key Relationships
Assigned Customers
Internal Sales and Contracts
Working with the Sales Team (Internal/External), Special Projects Division, Major Account Managers.
Liaise with Commercial Manager
Interact regularly with Marketing Manager regarding lead generation.
Liaising with all operational departments.

Main Activities and Responsibilities
Contribute as a sales force member, to the development and implementation of strategies to meet the company objectives
Produce effective plans and budgets with particular focus on:
Assigned market sectors/accounts
Major multi-site companies/institutions/Independent and major blue-chip accounts
New Accounts

Meet the income and expenditure plans for the assigned accounts
Liaise with the internal sales team in particular contracts.
Maintain an effective working relationship with the managers and staff of other sections throughout the company
Update AX system with quote information on a daily basis, ensuring all customer contact is recorded.
Produce quotations for customers as required and ensure they are despatched within the agreed timescale.
Provide regular analytical MI reports as required on the performance of assigned accounts to the company in a timely manager and in preparation for board meetings.
Produce reports, customer correspondence and feedback as required on a regular monthly basis.
Manage handover process of new accounts to internal sales team
Provide a high quality service to all customers
Adhere to all policies and procedures
Undertake risk assessment and take any necessary action to avoid potential health and safety hazards
Attend one 2 one meetings with line manager on a monthly basis
Assist with the conclusion of commercial terms and conditions.

Level of Autonomy and decision-making
Direct reporting line to Commercial Director
Responsible for creating and compiling compelling commercial solutions that increase client win rate and assist in the underpinning of our growth plans
