Our client is a highly regarded successful global finance company based in the Thames Valley just west of the M25. They are in the process of transforming the way they work to support significant global growth.

We are now looking for an outstanding career minded Environments Analyst to work directly with the on / off shore IT team, Developers, DBA’s, Architects and partners to manage and support all the existing non-production environments, provisioning new environments whilst maintaining the environment schedule, manage technical changes and code/data versions in the environments.

Due to the ongoing transformation in the ways of working within our client, an individual with an interest in DevOps practices and any Continuous Integration (CI) tools would be extremely useful.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:

• Ability to instil and maintain a structured, professional and rigorous approach to any proposed changes to the various pre-production Environments
• Technical knowledge in iSeries (AS400) and exposure to some of the following: LAN/WAN, Data Communications, Oracle, Lotus Notes, Windows environments (server and client), SQL, WebSphere MQ, Citrix, Salesforce
• Configuration Management & Release Management concepts
• Understanding of the Agile Methodology
• Some knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Creative solution-minded approach, analytical skills & an accomplished problem solver
• Flexible nature, showing adaptability to situations
• Pragmatic, risk aware, delivery driven with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter, conscientious & motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision
• Fluent in business English language - with clear and confident written and oral presentation skills and the ability to tailor these for all levels
