Technical Sales Engineer - Water Recovery Systems/Filtration
Location: Central or Southern UK
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Circa £45'000 per annum + Bonus + Company Car + Pension and a wide range of additional benefits

Position Overview
Our client is an international manufacturer of chemical products and industrial capital equipment utilized within industrial processing industries across the UK and Internationally.
With an envious market position and being the UK market leader, our client is constantly seeking to develop their product offering around greener and more efficient products.
We are therefore seeking an accomplished Technical Sales / Applications Engineer to undertake the promotion and sales of heat and energy recovery systems into clients.
The role will be to support and assist in the promotion and sales of water and energy technologies and to coordinate the installations of associated equipment and machinery, including site surveys and proposals.
The role will be focused around further establishing sales and enquiries of their bespoke products to their active customer base. It will also include the provision and justification of quotations and proposals to clients. Typical project values range from £10k to 500k per project.
You will be required to travel to customer's sites across the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will be based in central or southern UK and willing to work away from home on a regular basis. Hours will be flexible to fit the business requirements.

Main duties
* Delivery of specific Water &/or Energy commercial objectives.
* To be responsible for site surveys and the subsequent reports/quotations.
* To provide proposals with timetables and budgets for installations as required by the customer
* To provide post installation support, if necessary.
* To monitor and resolve customer complaints about installation issues.
* To keep abreast of developments in respect of equipment and applications associated with water and energy technologies.

Essential Criteria
* Experience within a similar technical sales engineering role
* Proactive, flexible and self-motivated
* Good communication skills
* Able to work as part of a team, also work alone when required
* Clean full driver's license
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Experience selling, installing and supporting water & energy recovery systems

Desirable Criteria
* Engineering qualified - Electrical or Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
* Previous experience with three phase equipment is desirable but not essential
* Previous work with chemicals is desirable but not essential
* Working knowledge of industrial steam boiler systems and/or filtration systems and/or heat exchanger systems is desirable but not essential
