Do you want to work less than half a year for £41,500 base + OT = £47,000 and upwards?

Working 144 12hr shifts ONLY we now require an Electrical Maintenance Controls Engineer!

The basics:

Base salary: £41,500 + OT = £47,000 and upwards

Hours/Shift: 6-6, 4on 4off, 2 days/2 nights 4off 5 rotations followed by 14 days off - 144 12hr shifts ONLY

Overtime Rates: Paid at x1.5 from 6 am Monday to 2 pm Saturday and x2/double from 2 pm Saturday to 6 am Monday - readily available

Location: Leicester

Essential Skills required:

* Competent working within a highly automated PLC driven, fast paced production environment
* Must have PLC editing/modifying experience in this PLC and controls focused role

Key responsibilities:

*To maintain service and repair all plant machinery to minimise production down time.

*Provide technical electrical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns


The ideal candidate Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

* Time served apprenticeship
* Strong electrical background working within a multi skilled role
* 17thedition electrically qualified
* PLC experience - fault finding - Allen Bradley currently in use on site.
* Familiar with AC/DC drives and invertors - beneficial
* Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
