Field Service Engineers with an electrical bias and excellent CNC ability now required to deliver high end CNC machine tool service primarily to the Aerospace and Automotive industry.

The successful CNC Service Engineers will fulfil a diverse role incorporating machine breakdowns, machine tool calibrations and annual maintenance contracts, applying volumetric compensation ensuring you achieve the optimum performance from all machines ranging from very large gantry machines to small milling machines.

You will be working predominantly with PLC and CNC controls, therefore an electrical bias with electronic skills is essential for this position. Also required:

? CNC controls knowledge of Siemens 840D and/or Fanuc with additional S7 PLC and ability to read ladder logic

? In-depth experience maintaining lathes and machining centres

? Thorough knowledge of Servo & Inverter drives

? A good understanding of machine geometry and alignment

? Strong Pneumatics and Hydraulics skills

The successful Engineer will be working around a 10 hour day with over time paid after 8hrs and up to 4 nights a week will be working away from home. Weekend work is on a voluntary basis and is paid at an overtime rate.
