This is an exceptional opportunity to work for a long-established and highly successful supplier of electro-mechanical production machinery. They design, supply, install and maintain Corrugator & Conversion materials handling machinery world-wide, and are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of two talented Electronics Control Engineers, one Senior and one Junior to Mid-level.

Based in Warrington and working 8 hours a day Monday to Friday with occasional weekend overtime, these are roles requiring innovation, sound engineering and a determination to succeed. You will be presented with interesting and unique challenges that require you to ‘think outside the box’ and devise reliable solutions that work day after day, year after year.

Working principally with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron and other PLC’s and Touchscreens, day to day challenges will include:
• Developing new systems
• Designing, building & testing Control panels
• Producing electrical schematics using C Plan
• Writing software and programming PLC’s
• Devising mechanical and hydraulic solutions to interface with the electronics
• Nominating motors, drives, interfaces between devices & third-party equipment
• Installing & commissioning systems on site
• Diagnosing & rectifying faults
• Liaising with customers and other engineers both in-house and on site

The successful Electronics Control Engineers will:
• Be hands-on
• Be experienced with PLC’s
• Enjoy devising & creating unique, bespoke & reliable solutions
• Have the determination to see projects through from beginning to end
• Take pride in seeing their work come to fruition
• Work well with other engineers, colleagues & customers
• Be happy to take short business trips to sites both in the UK & around the world
• Experience with Materials handling systems, Corrugators & Conversion machines would be an advantage but not essential
• Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron or other PLC and Touchscreens would also be helpful

If you are an innovative thinker, a hands-on design engineer with experience of PLC’s, motors, drives & interfaces, we’d like to hear from you.
The company offer training, exceptional opportunities for career development, a highly competitive remuneration package fully negotiable depending on experience, the opportunity to be a creative engineer, and to travel the UK and overseas
