Our customer is a global business who have doubled in size over the past twelve months, due to this continued growth they are looking for a Lead Application Support Analyst. They are a privately-owned company who have offices globally and a huge cliental.

Performing the role of Senior application support you will be responsible for focusing on the operational support of specific business applications ensuring maintenance tasks are completed and high availability of applications is maintained. The person performing a senior application support role will be Resolving logged IT incidents in order to restore service as quickly as possible using application specific technical knowledge. Ensuring escalation of tickets to other technical teams is prioritised as required. You will be responding to logged service requests, account administration, software installations and general application and server administration.

Essential skills:
Strong analytical reasoning skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
Passion for customer service and understanding of the value of delivering quality software support
Team player who is also able to work effectively independently
Self-motivated, action-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expert in SQL
Strong understanding and knowledge on multi-tiered web applications
Advantageous to have a knowledge of software development principles
2 years minimum previous application development skills
