This is where you come in:

Due to an exciting contract award, we have a requirement for a Document Controller to join our growing Power Sector team In the delivery of a prestigious Gas project in Cambridgeshire.
The document controller is responsible for Information Management and document control across the Project.. The post holder will develop, own and promote the Information Management Plan and to champion the use of correct document handling and transmission processes within the project team.purpose of the role
Key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain Information Management Plan and document control processes
• Oversee project document control
• Responsible for compliance and delivery of Project Control Framework products
• Development and management of unique document numbering system;
• Ownership and maintenance of the project collaborative workspace;
• Administer document control in line with the project ICT system;
• Development and implementation of document control process;
• Manage the process of distribution of internal correspondence and ensure good relationships with external and internal clients;
• Checking compliance with document control standards;
• Document transmittal and receipt;
• Ownership of Communications Log;
• Coordinate the conversion of final issue partner documentation to accepted standards

Knowledge / Skills / Behaviours:

• High level of MS office skills and experience; Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Experience of a Previous Document Control package such as SharePoint or Collaborator would be an advantage
• 3 years project experience in a complex multi-discipline project;
• 2 years in a Senior Information Management Role;
• Detailed knowledge of Document Management techniques including various industry recognised systems (experience in Business Collaborator (BC) will be highly regarded);
• Strong leadership skills;
• Experience of the mobilisation and process development.
