As Project Manager you will play a lead role in the delivery of new £13m Highway scheme in the South East of England. Our Client has an excellent reputation, known for their delivery of first class highway maintenance and framework contracts, capital road schemes, airports, public realm projects and major infrastructure projects. Due to on-going success and expansion they are now looking for Senior Site Engineer to join their UK Team and play a key role in the delivery of a new link road, two bridges and provision of cycle and pedestrian facilities.

As Project Manager you will provide senior level management, supervision and contracts management expertise across the project, ensuring all programme and commercial targets are achieved safely.

Your Responsibilities:
As Project Manager you will play the lead role in the delivery of the project from the site office. You will plan the program and monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate, while managing through your team; all safety, quality, time and budget parameters to deliver the project appropriately. You will liaise with stakeholders and closely manage the contracts from both the client and any subcontractors.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

* Managing projects from award of contract through to design, construction and handover / final account.
* Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
* Maintaining client/customer relationships, including the successful delivery of projects.
* Ensuring company safety and environmental standards are maintained and ensuring high quality control.
* In conjunction with the site QS for all contractual and onsite administration, keeping accurate records of all stages of the contract.

Requirements for the role:

* Minimum 10years Project Management experience, including 5 years of surfacing projects of a similar nature.
* Demonstrated track record in the successful management of contracts/projects ranging between £5M and £50M.
* Experience in managing project delivery teams, including familiarity with surfacing/paving equipment and personnel.
* 3rd level qualification in Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline
* Strong understanding and experience in contract and cost management.
* Strong understanding of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality management systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Project.
* Drivers licence.
