A Special School in Tower Hamlets are seeking to appoint a fully qualified motivated, creative and inspirational SEN Teacher who is passionate about improving the life chances of pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of permanent exclusion from secondary education.

* 3 Learning Support Assistants
* 1 HLTA
* 5-6 students in a class

SEN Teacher Job Responsibilities
* Ability to engage with and inspire students
* The flexibility to get involved with extra-curricular activities
* Ability to plan and deliver effectively differentiated lessons across the curriculum
* To work with 4-8 students with SEMH, ASD and MLD
* Assist and Support2 -3 Mentors & Learning Support Assistants in working with students in special schools
* Support from a more experienced teacher

SEN Teacher Job Requirements
* Hold QTS/QTLS teaching qualification (NQTs welcome)
* Secondary school trained
* Excellent subject knowledge
* Experience in special needs is not essential as training is provided. The ability to form relationships with young people and a flexible approach to working with others are important.
