Accounts and Audit Semi Senior

My client, is one of the largest and respected accountancy practices in the south of England with multiple offices and over 180 staff.

They require a full-time Semi-Senior to join their team who is seeking to progress their career within Audit and Accounts.

This role will ideally suit someone with a wide range of experience in all aspects of practice accountancy, with excellent attention to technical detail.

The successful candidate will:-

• Have worked in public practice for at least 1-2 years
• Be working toward the ACA or ACCA qualification, preferably AAT qualified or nearly qualified
• Be able to prepare accounts to a very high standard and work within a budget
• Ideally have experience of mentoring junior staff members and reviewing their work
• Enjoy being a positive, effective member of a successful team
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoy taking responsibility, undertaking technical research and engaging with clients
• Be able to solve problems on a time sensitive basis

Experience of transitioning to FRS102, or statutory audit work experience will be an advantage.

The ability to manage your own work efficiently with minimal supervision to ensure the continued smooth operation of the office is paramount, as is a positive attitude and commercial awareness. A competitive remuneration and benefits package will be provided for the successful candidate
