A confident and ambitious Humanities teacher is needed for a Pupil Referral Unit in Stockton on Tees to start in April 2018. This position is a full time teaching post and in order to be considered you must have experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

The school provides education programmes for pupils of secondary school age (11 – 16) who are at risk of exclusion or who have been permanently excluded and are unable to be transferred to another school.

The ideal candidate should:

*Be able to teach Humanities KS3 and 4.

*Have experience working in SEMH and have strong behavior management skills.

*Have a proven track record of consistently adding value to their students in all the schools they have taught.

*Possess a recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

*Be passionate about education with excellent curriculum knowledge, able to motivate and inspire your pupils.

*All candidates must also hold the Right to Work within the UK in a full time post.
