Do you want to work in a independently run nursery? Do you want a childcare role where you actually have the time and support to give each child the care and attention they deserve?

This successful day nursery is looking for a new member of staff to join their team as the nursery continues to grow. You will receive a warm welcome by their dedicated and experienced team who thrive on providing a safe, stimulating and happy environment for every child to learn and develop.

This is a full time position with most shifts ranging from 8am-6pm and 7:15am-4pm but, the ideal candidate will need to be flexible if some days the shift needs to be different to accommodate for staff sickness or absence. Requirements of this role:

Qualified candidates must have minimum a NVQ2 in childcare or equivalent.
Must have relevant child care experience.
Be able to provide at least 1 child care reference.
Relevant knowledge of EYFS England and Wales.
Eligibility to work in the UK

In this role your main responsibilities will be:

Caring for children aged 0-5 years
Planning and delivering fun and exciting activities
Assisting with lunch and snack time
Ensuring the nursery is kept clean and tidy throughout the day
Working towards assessing the development of children through observations
Each day you will liaise with the team as well as parents, carers and other professionals to ensure the needs of every individual child are being met
You will help the children to learn, grow and develop by writing up reports and linking observations to the EYFS Framework
