A primary school in Abbots Langley are looking for a 1:1 learning support assistant to support a child in KS2 who has ADHD. Applicants are welcomed from both candidates with and without experience of ADHD as their focus is finding the right person for the child. Opportunities for training and shadowing of colleagues will be provided to support the applicant.

The hours of work are 8.30am to 1.15pm Monday to Friday. The post is a fixed term appointment, linked to the child. This means if the child leaves, the contract would come to an end. However, we envisage the child will be with us until the end of Year 6.

All of the schools 1:1 support staff work collaboratively, under the guidance of their Senco. Opportunities are provided within the working week for support staff to work together and share good practice.

Look at what our current teachers have to say about us…

"It is with confidence and pleasure that I am able to recommend Randstad to other teachers as a teaching agency in Hertfordshire. This confidence is the result of the support given to me as a teacher and the professionalism shown by the Hertfordshire team. The work opportunities have been plentiful and the pay is very fair. There also seems always to be a very good relationship between the schools that I have worked for and the Hertfordshire service." Pam
