We are now looking for a permanent O&M Fleet Manager to join our team based in Coventry. O&M Fleet Manager Responsibilities As the Fleet Manager you'll be in charge of the distributed Energy Centres of our On-Site Generation business in the UK. This is what the role involves O&M Lead in all operational and maintenance relevant topics for the installed base and new sites coming online. Oversee the operational management of Generation technologies various in size and covers CH(P)P, Tri-generation, gas engines, gas turbines, steam /heating boilers, HRSG, biomass, GSHP, PV. O&M Team lead of local Fleet engineers for various sites cross country and coordinators to steer the daily operation/work of fleet engineers. Management of the fleet team in UK to deliver continuous improvement to operational business success according to local standards (technical, legislations, safety,…). Responsibility for the improvement and changes according to any areas of non-compliance, especially with regard to contractual obligations and government standards or best practice (EAMMR). Acting as the Authorisation Manager (AM) for O&M. Development and sign off on the provision and development of requires SOPs and PMPs focussing on continuous improvement, lean management, control and audit. Lead in SHE (health and safety) implementation processes for operation and daily execution. Provide support to the planning, management and implementation of technical and operational improvements for sites in operation. Managing communication channels to clients as appropriate and in regard of operations & maintenance using the required tools/applications to drive performance and efficient response by Liaising with contractors and service partners to deliver the required result for operation on time and achieving best practice. Reporting to the Head of Operations & Maintenance within ECT OSG O&M UK. Qualifications Here's what you'll need: Degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering or in related fields. Significant experience in energy equipment related industries in global environment with focus of Operation on distributed energy generation of complete plants/sites for CH(P)P sites with gas engines, gas turbines, Cooling, Steam, Heat, auxiliaries., Biomass, HRSG, PV and GSHP. Long experience as commissioning and troubleshooting engineer. Detailed understanding of Safety e.g SAM/P is valuable. Project management skills and tool experience focussed on operation. Experience in commercials and deliver customer satisfaction. Function as a subject matter expert in all required technical and operational areas. Critical thinking skills and ability to analyse complex problems and present these in a clear communication style. Maintain strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations. Proactive, self-disciplined and highly/self-motivated with well-organized work style. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate leadership qualities to the Fleet team. Needs to be able to work constructively with customers and internal stakeholders. A current and clean driving licence with the willingness to travel to both local and international sites.
