Retail Systems & Data Support Assistant
An opportunity has arisen within the Intersport division for a full time Retail Systems & Data Support Assistant. This role will be the initial point of contact within Intersport on the Cegid Business Retail system (CBR) and the Intersport Portal (‘Sportal’) both internally and for members. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and learning new systems / working with data. Excellent customer service and IT skills are a pre-requisite of this role, including Intermediate to Advanced Excel. Key aspects of the role include: · Provide support to the product team and members on the CBR and ‘Sportal’ platforms. · Liaise with suppliers for seasonal product data. · Be responsible for portal uploads and daily management and housekeeping of the ‘Sportal’. · Oversee the housekeeping of CBR, ensuring the accuracy of information and where appropriate removing old POs and SOs. · Manage sales orders and purchase orders. · Provide ad hoc reports and data analysis for the Product team as required. Core Skills and Experience · Prior experience of working on a retail management solution is essential · Technical and working knowledge of CBR would be advantageous · Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse / extract data · An ability to quickly learn and understand new systems · Excellent customer service and administrative skills · High standards of both verbal and written communication skills · Effective time management with an ability to meet deadlines · Organised and methodical in managing a number of tasks at one time · Diligent with and a keen eye for detail · A calm manner and productive approach to work even during busy times · Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Intermediate to Advanced Excel · An understanding of Intersport suppliers would be beneficial, but not essential.
